Downtown Danville is in the process of adding a great new venue, The Vine at Bridges, a full service wine shop and wine bar. We are still in the process of finishing the inside of the building, but it won't be too long until we open the doors in early September.

Victor (Wine Bar Manager), Scott (Partner), Andrea (Retail Sales Assistant), and I (Curtis - Retail Manager) have been working hard tasting over 300 wines to determine what we be bringing into the shop and wine bar. We have tasted some outstanding gems. There is one wine that stands out so far for price versus value, the 2005 Fisticuffs Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley.

The wine has an incredible nose of dark fruits and an opulent palate worthy of a one hundred dollar bottle. And the great news is it only sell for $32 suggested retail. These are the type of great wine finds we look forward to bringing our guests at The Vine.
